This project will construct a waterline along northbound frontage road of State Highway 6, generally between Woodcreek Drive and North Forest Drive. This project will connect existing waterlines near Woodcreek Drive and North Forest Drive. All proposals shall follow the format provided by the City of College Station. The City is seeking a construction company with quality experience in waterline utility construction. Statement of Work: Construction to include sections of 20-inch, 18-inch, and 12-inch waterline. Valves and Hydrants Install casing at certain creek and road crossings Some installation by bore. Tie in connections at existing waterlines and pressure reducing valve Install 4-inch conduit with 1-inch inner-ducts, pull tape and tracer wire for future fiber optic cable. Pavement repair and traffic control will be require as well Coordination with CSU for all waterline shutdowns and tie-ins. Some areas of work may contain private irrigation and repair of damaged irrigation will be required Coordination with City inspector and materials testing lab.
