Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Plainfield, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This bid package includes two path projects. The Clarks Creek Extension project includes construction of a 1,400-foot asphalt path connecting the existing trail west of Quaker Boulevard to the existing sidewalk on the east side of the Hendricks Regional Health entrance on Stanley Road. The scope of the project includes concrete sidewalk, curb ramps, concrete junction circles, block retaining wall and asphalt path, along with auxiliary items such as benches and landscaping. The Living Christ Path Construction project includes constructing a 1,700-foot asphalt path north of Living Christ Church connecting the existing trail at Legacy Farms Subdivision to the existing path along Moon Road. The scope of the project includes asphalt path, storm sewer work, a detention pond, mound removal, and filling an existing pond, along with auxiliary items such as benches and landscaping. Bidders will be evaluated on the combined total cost of both projects. Any bids received later than the above time will be returned unopened. Regular business hours at the Town Hall are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The remittance for the paper and electronic documents is not refundable. Payment shall be by money order or check and shall be made payable to Banning Engineering. INDIANA REQUIREMENTS: Standard Questionnaire Form 96, latest edition, shall be completely filled out and signed, including attachment of Contractor's Financial Statement as stipulated in Section III. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms and in the order as identified and contained in the Contract Documents obtainable from the offices as stated above. Each bid shall be accompanied by a completely filled out Form No. 96 and acceptable Bid Security. Any bid not accompanied by the above-required items shall be deemed a non-responsive bid. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within a period of 60 days following the date set for the receiving of bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract, with or without alternatives, to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Owner or to reject all bids. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the Town of Plainfield or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears on the most current Treasury Department Circular No. 570. BONDS: A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded.
