This project was awarded to Humphrey Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $207,200. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with a State licensed surety company as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid, made payable to Grays Harbor County. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a Contract in accordance with the bid, and furnish all documents and bonds required within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit or bond shall be forfeited to Grays Harbor County. Grays Harbor County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. Grays Harbor County shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents, or any bid proposal which is incomplete or irregular. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities. Contract award, if made, will be to the lowest responsible bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time set for the opening thereof, unless award of the Contract is delayed for a period of time exceeding thirty (30) days. All work performed on the project will be subject to state prevailing wage rates.
