Bidders must write their Louisiana State Contractor's license number on the outside of the bid envelope prior to bid submission for public works construction projects estimated at $50,000 and above. In the case of an electronic bid proposal, a contractor may submit an authentic digital signature on the electronic bid proposal accompanied by the contractor's license number in order to meet the requirements of LSA-R.S. 37:2163. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 45 days after the date fixed for opening bids. For just cause, the City of Kenner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive informalities. In accordance with LA R.S. 38:2212 and Louisiana Administrative Code 34:III.Chapter , bid submission shall conform to those requirements as stipulated on the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form. Bidder must submit a bid security in the form of bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the contract price in favor of the City of Kenner.
