Reference number : 1516383 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-08-26 Electronic submission accepted: No Expected duration of the contract (in months): 12 Project title: Replacement and upgrading of ventilation - Improvement of the comfort of the Pavillon Maisonneuve (HMR) laundromat (HMAI-19-138) Institution: CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Ile-de-Montreal Facility targeted by the work: Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital - Maisonneuve Pavilion Work completion time: Sixteen (16) weeks The Project Manager, CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Ile-de-Montreal , having its head office at 5415, boulevard de l'Assomption, Montreal, QC H1T 2M4 requests bids for the construction work of the project mentioned in title. SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SUBMISSION GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: An amount equivalent to a percentage of the tender price and in the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a financial institution and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date the bids are opened; Where A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price; Where An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, savings or credit union or trust or savings company and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" form in the amount of five percent ( 5%) of the bid price. Only contractors with a business office in Quebec are allowed to tender (NB when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, add the following text: "or in a province or territory covered by this agreement") and holding the required license in under the Building Act. A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Regie du batiment du Quebec or registered in the register of enterprises not eligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not admitted to submit a bid; these two cases of ineligibility are also applicable to the tenderer's subcontractors. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. Information request : Bidders who wish to receive information or clarifications with regard to the call for tenders must do so in writing at the latest three (3) working days before the deadline set for receipt of bids . Bidders wishing to submit requests for equivalences or substitutions must necessarily do so during the period of writing offers and call no later than 24 August 2021 to 15 h 00 . During these visits, representatives of the Project Manager will answer questions from bidders. Bidders are invited to participate in this site visit. Failure to participate cannot be used as an excuse or pretext for errors, omissions or irregularities on the part of a tenderer. Each tenderer is responsible for delegating a representative to this visit. All bidders, contractors and sub-contractors will be considered to have visited the premises and no claim for lack of knowledge of the premises can be submitted or accepted. In addition, the Project Manager assumes no responsibility towards bidders who will not be presented for the site visit with regard to information that may have been given during the site visit. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, only one (1) person per company will be accepted. If you are symptomatic, please do not attend. Once there, we ask you to respect all social distancing instructions and to protect yourself with a mask, visor or other. (THE PUBLIC BODY will not provide any means of protection, it is the responsibility of each Bidder to provide its own means of protection). The Project Manager does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the bids received . Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required. award is subject to final approval.
