Site work and paving for a civil project in L'Assomption, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
Reconstruction of De Bailleul bridge and Road 341 reconstruction and widening between Hwy 40 and Road 344. The project aims to improve mobility along Route 341 between Highway 40 and Route 344 in L'Assomption. It will also address safety issues, particularly at various intersections. The project involves widening Route 341 over a length of approximately two kilometers, including widening the Bailleul Bridge over the L'Assomption River and the overpass over Highway 40. TIMELINE: Project design is underway. Given the complexity and scale of the project the plans are being prepared by construction packages. It is undetermined now whether there will be one tender for the general contractor or the tendering process will be subdivided into several solicitations. Timelines of the project development are being finalized. Further update in spring/summer 2026. Note. The L'Assomption municipal council has already adopted a resolution authorizing a zoning change on the lots affected by the project.
