The Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for "Teegarden Park Tennis Court Resurfacing" project #TT2021-PW02. The project consist of removing 1 1/2 " of old court surface and replacing with 1 1/2 " new blacktop. Base repair will be evaluated during milling operations. The 2 courts measure 120' x 110', approximately 1467 square yards and will require approximately 130 tons of blacktop and a unit price for Type 2 base repair. Requests for clarification are due Friday, May 14, 2021 12:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. Each bid submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Bonds are issued by surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bids will be reviewed and awarded at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on May 24, 2021. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid. Tredyffrin Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to determine whether the quality and type of equipment and/or service to be furnished meet the requirements for which it was intended. In the best interests of the Township, the Board of Supervisors further reserve the right to insist or waive any technicalities required and to consider competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the Contract, and award it accordingly. All workmen performing work on this project shall be paid the general minimum Prevailing Wage Rates supplied herein, as determined by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, in accordance with the Regulations for Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
