This solicitation covers the estimated three (3) year requirements of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for Roadway Signs. The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation will be mandatory for Caltrans and is not available for use by other State departments or local agencies. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be for three (3) years. The contract will contain two (2) extension options for one (1) year or portion thereof. If a mutual agreement for a contract extension cannot be met, the contract may be terminated at the end of the current contract term and/or contract extension. The historical value based on expenditures from the current mandatory statewide contract, number 1-17-97-32 for Roadway Signs, is approximately $9,866,186.11 over four (4) years. The current contract was awarded under an "All or None", single group solicitation. It is the responsibility of potential bidders to carefully read and respond accurately and timely. Altered documents will NOT be accepted and all pricing worksheets submitted shall be editable. SCANNED copies of the pricing worksheets will NOT be accepted and may result in an incomplete bid. Quantities shown for each line item on Attachments 1A, 1B and 1C - Pricing Worksheets are estimations for evaluation purposes only. The estimated quantities are based upon anticipated purchasing for a three (3) year period. Actual purchasing may vary from this pattern. The State will not guarantee that these quantities will be purchased. All Bidders are encouraged to carefully review all pages of this solicitation. Bidders are also encouraged to review the attached Pricing Worksheets as soon as possible, as there are a significant number of line items in each Pricing Worksheet Group for this solicitation.
