Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Apple Valley, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking qualified Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services and transportation and perform and complete all work required in connection with the construction of: Demolition and Removal of Portable at Apple Valley County Education Center Questions/RFI's due: April 29, 2021 @ 2:00 pm. Any questions regarding the proposal should be reduced to writing and e-mailed to Amber Arias at amber.arias@sbcss.net. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. A Payment Bond and Performance Bond will be required of all contractors prior to the execution of the contract for all trades. The Payment Bond and Performance Bond shall be in the form and amount set forth in the Contract Documents. In accordance with provisions of Public Contract Code Section 22300, substitution of eligible and equivalent securities for any monies withheld to ensure performance under this contract will be permitted at the request and expense of any contractor. Unless otherwise specified in Supplementary General Conditions, Contractor shall furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of contract price as security for faithful performance of this contract and shall furnish a separate bond in an amount at least equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price as security for payment of persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with this contract. Aforesaid bonds shall be in form set forth in these contract documents. All bids shall be made on the bid form furnished by San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. Each bidder shall possess at the time of bid a current contractor's license, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300 and Business and Professions Code Section 7028-15, for the applicable work proposed to be furnished. The successful bidder must maintain the license throughout the duration of this contract. Bidders responding must possess a California General Building Contractor's B license. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 90 days after the date set for the opening thereof. The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid. DURATION: 90 Consecutive Calendar Days (Estimated Start Date 6/1/2021)
