Installation of the paving and drainage systems, including preparation of sub-grade, lime-rock base, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, asphalt, signs, pavement markings, etc. at Fire Station 9.
Each Bid shall be submitted in two (2) separate sealed envelopes; one (1) envelope shall contain the "Qualifications Package" and the second envelope shall contain the "Cost Package". The outside of each sealed envelope must clearly indicate the name and number of this ITB (FIRE STATION 9-SITEWORK, PAVING & DRAINAGE, ELECTRICAL & SITE LIGHTING AND UTILITIES; ITB Number: 2020-21-3230-00-018); the Bidder's name and address; and the name and telephone number of the Bidder's contact person. Each envelope shall be marked as either the "Qualifications Package" or the "Cost Package." The City of Hialeah reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Hialeah for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the contract.
The City of Hialeah reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole. Last date for receipt of written questions: Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM. The City of Hialeah Construction and Maintenance Department is proposing to install a
temporary modular building for a New Fire Station (9) located at 3620 W. 104 St. The fire
station will consist of a modular trailer that will be installed by others and is not part of this
bid. The scope of work for this bid will include the following:
Modifications to the existing parking lot to accommodate the new modular building and a
turning radius for the fire trucks, along with concrete walkways, landscaping, new parking
layout, stripping, signage, new drainage system, site lighting, fencing, and utility connections
(water/sewer/electrical) including connection and restoration in the public right of way.
