The proposed Work is generally described as follows: a. Installation of permanent fall protection at both the NWTP and SWTP; b. Replacement the bulk and dilution sodium permanganate storage tanks along with all piping, valves and instruments directly associated with the tanks at the NWTP; c. Replacement of the bulk and day hydrofluorosilic acid tanks along with the necessary connecting piping, valves and instruments at the NWTP; d. Installation of an emergency gas scrubber on the roof of the chlorine storage room at the NWTP; e. Installation of an emergency gas scrubber inside the existing workshop at the SWTP. f. Add ventilation improvements to the chlorine storage room at the NWTP and SWTP. g. Replace the chlorine 1-ton cylinder emergency shutoff valves at the SWTP. h. Improve waterproofing for the 2010 building expansion at the SWTP. i. Improve site drainage at the southeast corner of the SWTP. j. Bid Alternate for the construction of a new maintenance vehicle garage, covered walkway, and associated site work.
