The STH 47 perpetuation project extends from Burdick Street to the Outagamie/Shawano County line (8 miles) in the towns of Black Creek, Cicero and within the Village of Black Creek in Outagamie County. Work includes mill and resurface the existing roadway, replacing beam guard, upgrading curb ramps, miscellaneous repair of curb and gutter, miscellaneous repair of storm sewer and cross culverts along with updated pavement markings. The roadway work will be constructed under traffic utilizing flagging operations with moving single lane closures. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract.
