The 151st ARW Contracting Office is seeking companies, including small businesses, who can provide the munitions storage magazines described herein. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 332311 Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing, which has a corresponding size standard of no more than 750 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. 2. Description The 151st Civil Engineering Squadron of the Utah Air National Guard has a requirement for the purchase and installation of two (2) EACH 40ft x 8 ft Type 2 ammunition/explosives storage magazines meeting US Military specification NSWC 3046-93-1. Provide lighting, lightning protection, electrical, flooring, and entrance doors and ramps. These magazines will be delivered F.O.B. destination to the Roland R. Wright ANG Base at 765 N 2200 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. Currently the Government anticipates awarding a sole source contract to ARMAG Corporation. ARMAG is one of a handful of companies that provides a product that meets the NSWC 3046-93-1 specification; however, this is a limited-scope project that will not address any site changes. Therefore, the current Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB) approved safety site plan is being used. As ARMAG is the module currently in place at the site, ARMAG modules would need to be used to incorporate the existing site plan. The current project is limited to replacing failing magazines, while a future project will address the entire munitions storage complex where other manufacturers will be able to compete for the work.
