ontractor shall provide for the complete Delegated Design, Permitting, Construction, and Operation of each individual water supply well system to be reviewed and approved including, but not limited to the following items: 1. Rotary drilled water supply wells. 2. Submersible well pumps. 3. Water service piping and fittings. 4. Check and gate valves. 5. Spigot (non-threaded). 6. Pressure gauge. 7. Couplings. 8. Screened vent. 9. Hydro pneumatic tanks (up to 1,000 gal). 10. Float valves 11. Electrical service. 12. Well head enclosure. All materials and construction for the water well systems are to be permitted by the Well Contractor (NC licensed and certified per NCAC 15A CHAPTER 27) with the Gaston County Health Department and State of North Carolina (where applicable) and are to be done in strict accordance with the State Department of Environment and Natural Resources regulations (15A NCAC SUBCHAPTER 2C Well Construction Standards (Commercial Wells). Contractor is responsible for coordination with the Gaston County Health Department for each individual water well system including, but not limited to the following: a. Shop drawing submittals. b. System layout. c. Testing and inspections. d. Permits to construct and operate. e. All Permits, Certificates, Close Out Data to be completed by the contractor and shared with the Owner. Contractor shall construct well to determine soils quality, estimate screen set, if applicable, and provide water sample. Contractor will perform a 24 hour pumping test of the well, monitoring and recording the static water level and pump flow rate at regular intervals to determine the sustained pumping rate of the well and also the well recharge rate after pumping has terminated.
