Site work and new construction of a civil project in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of the supply and construction of a new underground sanitary pump station generally consisting of, but not limited to, a fiberglass wet well, valve chamber, electrical kiosk and approximately 200 metres of open cut sanitary sewer main along 51 Street and also along 47 Avenue in Ladner. The deep underground wet well for the pump station shall be installed with the use of a permanent interlocking sheet pile cofferdam structure. The excavation requires deep well dewatering below the base of the wet well to ensure the successful excavation and installation of the tank without destabilizing the area adjacent to the site. The treatment system shall be capable of managing high flow rates of approximately 30 l/s +/-.
