Furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Union Avenue and Rainier Street Roundabout. The project includes the construction of a 5-legged roundabout at the intersection of Union Avenue/Rainier Street/Martin Street/entrance to the Pierce County ferry loading lanes. The project includes roadway grading, pavement reconstruction, minor storm drainage improvements, utility adjustment, construction of new curb/gutter and sidewalk, splitter islands, channelization, signing, illumination, walls, RRFBs, traffic control and surface restoration. The Work shall be substantially complete within 90 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Steilacoom, Washington. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Financing of the Project has been provided by Town of Steilacoom, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The Town of Steilacoom expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
