Location- Indian Run Elementary School Removing of an existing roof hatch and turning it 180* and installing a new wall ladder with 4' movable extension for tie off. Work under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, access to the work, materials, and equipment necessary to perform removal of existing Modified Bitumen roof system and installation of a new PVC membrane (meeting ASTM D 4434) roof system and related work on Indian Run Elementary School (34,300sq.ft.). Removal of the existing modified bitumen roof system including all associated metal and membrane flashings and accessories down to the existing metal roof deck. Refer to the project drawings for detail installation and locations for all new roof system replacement details. A building permit is not required for the roof replacement, Base Bid. Repair or replace corroded or otherwise damaged metal roof deck on the structure. Ensure all repairs and/or replacements are structurally sound. Metal roof deck replacement will be performed per unit pricing. Repair other types of roof deck material as required to ensure a structurally sound surface. Install new wood members as required by details shown and inspect existing wood nailers for increasing fastening as required for FM1-49 criteria. Existing wood nailers found to b deteriorated will be replaced per unit prices.
