Renovation of an educational facility in Mayfield, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the project consists of maintenance renovations to repair/replace eroding conditions of the Mayfield Middle School Shingle Roofing assemblies associated with the 1982 and 1992 sections of the facility (approximately 30,000s.f.). This bid package shall include all work associated with the complete replacement of the Shingle Roofing Assemblies. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid greater than $100,000.00, in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Bid security shall be in the form of a bid bond issued/executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the commonwealth of Kentucky or a certified check. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. A Prebid meeting has not been scheduled for this project at this time Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner and in an amount of 100 percent of the contract amount plus all direct material and equipment values designated in the bid as breakout items to be acquired by the Owner, through the direct purchase order agreement process, will be required of the successful Bidder.
