A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for a 34.5KV Utility Interconnection overhead line from Summerside substation to Summerside Sunbank project site. To design, procure and construct the Utility Interconnection line consisting of one (1) Hendrix Aerial Spacer Cable circuit normally operating at 34.5 kV. Conductor material is 477 ACSR and is to be installed/designed on pole structures capable of supporting this conductor. The minimum pole height should be 50 ft class 2 (dependent on Contractor calculations) and there shall be enough clearance space to allow for the installation of a 144-count fiber optic cable in the space below the conductor by the Contractor. Every new pole is to contain a pole grounding system with a minimum of a #4 copper butt ground connected to the neutral on the spacer cable messenger. The Utility Interconnection Line may be installed on existing poles or new poles along the route. The line shall be constructed to all applicable CSA clearance standards and will include all the appropriate equipment and material to construct the line including associated anchoring and guying. A 34.5 kV Outdoor Dry type Metering Tank (600:5) is also to be procured and installedon a pole located on the Utility Interconnection Line at the Summerside Sunbank site. The following equipment with adequate specifications shall be supplied, installed, connected and tested, but not be limited to: + 477 ACSR Aerial Spacer Cable. + Lightning arresters. + Conductor framing - Spacer brackets. + Messenger/Neutral cable. + 144 count fiber optic cable (similar to 144 EW4-T31-00-D64 Corning). + Strand for fiber cable. + Fiber terminations, splices, junction boxes and patch panels. + Poles. + Guying and Anchors. + Tape, splices and required connectors. + Manual 600 Amp load break switches to disconnect the line from the facility at the Point of Common Coupling (PCC) at the site. + All protection studies and power system studies to be modelled and results submitted to the City of Summerside for review prior to construction. + Necessary installation of telecom equipment such as fiber optic cable and applicable spacing requirements on poles. + 34.5 kV terminations kits, communications cables, conduits, cable supports, conductor and cable markers, terminals, lugs, strain supports, clamps, etc. + Calculations to ensure design meets all requirements of the Owner and associated standards. + 34.5 kV Outdoor Dry Type Metering tank complete with metering cabinet, terminal strips and meter mount. * The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
