A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** Engineering, Procurement and Construction of 10MW/20MWH Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for the Summerside Sunbank Project. The scope of work for the Contractor includes all EPC services such as, but not limited to the management, permitting, manufacturing, design, construction, testing, delivery and clean-up required for the installation of a fully functional and ready for commercial application 10 MW /20 MWh BESS interconnected at 34.5 kV by the Contractor with the 34.5 kV Grid Connection, supplied and installed by others. The 34.5 kV Grid Connection is also connected, by others, to the 21 MW AC Solar Farm supplied and installed by others, and connected to the Utility Interconnection line going to the Summerside substation as shown in the single line diagram presented in Appendix A. The BESS must be designed knowing that it will be installed within a protected well field and near a residential area. The scope of work of the Contractor also includes: - The health and safety of the City of Summerside residents during the construction. - The security of the project, from the mobilization until final completion. - Onsite integrated office trailer to be provided by Solar PV contractor. Contractor to coordinate with Solar PV contractor. If Contractor requires their own trailer this is to be arranged through the owner at the BESS Contractor own cost. Initial installation charges, ongoing maintenance and recurring charge must be the responsibility of the Contractor. - Obtaining all permits and associated fees required to install and commercially operate the Summerside BESS. - Control and manage dust generation during all phases of the project. - Prevent water well pollution during all phases of the project. - Snow removal during winter months for the duration of the construction phase. * The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
