Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,000-square-foot educational facility.

The project consists of the renovations of two existing buildings at Abilene High School and two existing buildings at Cooper High School to be utilized by the Fine Arts Department, with related sitework and landscaping. This project consists of renovations to approximately 22,000 SF of existing buildings at Abilene East High School and Cooper High School. The areas to be renovated will be served by the new LIFT campus that is currently being finished up by SEDALCO. Proposal pricing from all proposers must be broken out as follows, per the requirements of the bid documents: • ITEM A - Renovations to existing north shops at the Abilene High East Vocational Technology Building (Section 1 Drawings) • ITEM B - Renovations to existing Fine Arts spaces West of the Auditorium at the Abilene High Fine Arts Building (Section 2 Drawings) • ITEM C - Renovations to existing Southeast shops and Northeast classrooms at the Cooper High East Vocational Technology Building (Section 3 Drawings) • ITEM D - Renovations to existing Fine Arts spaces at the Cooper High Fine Arts Building (Section 4 Drawings) Further, the following ALTERNATES are part of the proposal and must be provided by all bidders affected by each Alternate: • ALT 1 - Bus Route and exterior improvements (Section 1 and 3 Drawings) • ALT 2 - Additional Fine Arts scope (Section 2 and 4 Drawings) • ALT 3 - Visual display units, projectors, and projection screens (Sections 101100, 115213, and 274116 of Specifications) • ALT 4 - Ceiling, lighting, and HVAC replacement at corridors of Abilene High East Vocational Technical Building (Section 1 Drawings) • ALT 5 - Removal and replacement of ceilings and lighting in classrooms of Abilene High East Vocational Technical Building (Section 1 Drawings) ***As a result of Addendum 4, please note that we are no longer required to split the base bid up by section/area. Accordingly, it will be fine if subcontractor/supplier proposals simply provide one number associated with the base bid work at all four sections/areas of the project.
