SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION: The City of Hartford is soliciting proposals for the Burr School Bathroom improvements. Burr Bathrooms General Notes: 1. Paint ALL metal doors and frames. Prep and refinish as required for a “Like new finish”. Remove hardware prior to painting for a consistent finish. 2. Scrape, patch, sand (as required), prime and paint block walls with epoxy in ALL bathrooms. 3. Scrape, patch, sand (as required) for smooth finish, prime and epoxy paint ALL Bathroom Glazed Wall Tile. 4. Replace partitions in all the specified bathrooms. All partitions to be Stainless Steel ASI Global Partitions https://globalpartitions.com/products/stainless-steel/ equipped with continuous wall brackets, floored anchored/overhead braced. Patch the old holes on the walls and floors to match the existing finishes. Add blocking to the plaster walls. 5. Replace flooring with poured epoxy flooring as specified. See Spec Section 09 67 23. Provide all necessary floor prep prior to the new floor installation for a smooth uniform finish. Strip all wax, patch holes and cracks, etc. Floor epoxy to be included up to the top of the existing base in all bathrooms. 6. Replace all damaged ceiling tiles in bathrooms with new ceiling tile. 7. Paint all existing ceiling grids. 8. Provide new 24” x 36” mirrors over all single sinks as per the finish schedule. Stainless steel edging will be required on the mirrors. The triple sinks in the group bathroom will require 72” x 36” mirrors over the sinks. Relocate existing soap dispensers as required. 9. Replace ALL owner supplied toilet paper dispensers in every stall. 10.Replace owner supplied paper towel dispenser as listed below. Epoxy paint all CMU and plaster walls and ceilings. Patch all walls & ceilings prior to paint to make paint ready. Paint doors and frames. Replace toilet paper dispensers. 13.2 ND FLOOR GIRLS: Epoxy paint all CMU and plaster walls and ceilings Patch all walls prior to paint to make paint ready. Paint doors & frames. 14.2 ND FLOOR BOYS: Epoxy paint all CMU and plaster walls and ceilings. Patch all walls & ceilings prior to paint to make paint ready. Skim coat all walls & ceilings prior to paint to make paint ready. Paint doors and frames. Replace toilet paper dispensers. Remove all 5 plywood patches and infill walls as required for a paint finish. Supply and install 2 large mirrors. Prep and paint existing stained wood trim. Supply and install 4”x4” ceramic tile on the vestibule walls to the underside of the ceiling. 16.3 RD FLOOR GIRLS (INCLUDING THE VESTIBULE & ADJACENT SINGLE BATH): Replace 5 Stalls.
