Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Inkerman, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
CONTRACT ONE (1): Maintenance & Protection of Traffic, Preparation of Parking Lots, Fine Grading, Milling, Leveling and Wearing Courses and associated work. CONTRACT TWO (2): Installation of Owner Provided Equipment, ADA Safety Surfaces for Newly Installed and Existing Equipment and associated work BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance, Payment & One (1) Year Maintenance Bonds of 100% are required by the successful bidder. BIDS may be held by the TOWNSHIP OF JENKINS for a period not to exceed NINETY (90) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid. Prevailing Wage Rates Determination is applicable for both Contract one (1) and two (2) Non-discrimination/sexual harassment in employment-bidders on their work will be required to comply with the NONDISCRIMINATION/ SEXUAL HARASSMENT CLAUSE included in the contract documents shall not because of gender, race, creed, or color, discriminate against any citizen of this Commonwealth who is qualified and available to perform the work to which the employment relates.
