Following project: SFY 2020 Kingfisher, Curlew and Bass Roads Sewer Main Replacement Project New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program, Project: S340034-05: The sanitary sewer replacement includes the following: Removal and replacement of approximately 4080 LF of existing sanitary sewer pipe with 8 inch PVC SDR 26 sanitary sewer pipe, removal and replacement of approximately 4260 linear feet of sanitary sewer laterals and connect to existing lateral; removal and replacement of approximately 15 sanitary sewer manholes; removal and replacement of 155 water meters and meter pits, pavement restoration and all required fittings, dewatering, traffic control and disturbed area restoration. And SFY 2020 Kingfisher, Curlew and Bass Roads Water Main Replacement Project New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program, Project: 1532002-007: The watermain replacement includes the following: Removal and replacement of approximately 3825 LF of existing water main with 8 inch PVC C-900 pipe; removal, replacement and installation of approximately 3460 LF of water services; 7 hydrants; installation of approximately 7 gate valves; pavement restoration and all required testing, disinfection, traffic control and disturbed area restoration. Project award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder within 60 days of the bid opening. The successful lowest responsible Bidder must comply with all provisions of N.J.A.C.7:22-9.1 ET SEQ., Rules and Regulations for Awarding Contracts for State Assisted Projects to Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (included within). The successful lowest responsible Bidder shall comply with the project plan developed by the sponsor to fulfill SED utilization requirements, as defined in the Small Business Act 15 U.S.C. 637(a) and 637 (d), and any regulations promulgated pursuant thereto. This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the "New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program" Project #1532002-007 for all work associated with water main replacement and Project #S340034-05 for all work associated with sewer main replacement. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program nor any of their departments, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-3,4,5,9 and 10. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Tuckerton hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
