Renovation of a transportation facility in Moncton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The City of Moncton is seeking to engage the services of a professional, qualified and experienced Contractor to furnish all labour, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals required to complete the supply and installation of a back-up generator required by Codiac Transpo (public transit service) at its operational facility, located at 140 Millennium Blvd., in Moncton, N.B. The proposed back-up generator is a 300kW, 347 / 600V, three-phase unit complete with a cold-weather kit, remote annunciator panel, remote power shut-off switch, and an automatic transfer switch, along with a full walk-in enclosure. An existing 75 KVA transformer (floor-mounted in the electrical room) will need to be relocated in order to allow for the installation of a new automatic transfer switch. It will also be necessary for the successful Contractor to supply and install a new valve and line off of the existing natural gas system in the building. A BID BOND, CERTIFIED CHEQUE, MONEY ORDER, or IRREVOCABLE BANK LETTER OF CREDIT, made payable to the "City of Moncton", in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) OF THE TOTAL TENDERED PRICE (TAXES INCLUDED), shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that a Contract will be entered if a bid is accepted.
