Per the owner, as of February 11, 2022, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that the project is currently in design and bidding is anticipated in the summer of 2022. The owner states that construction is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2022. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .................. The City of Orange is soliciting proposals for consulting services to develop and manage implementation of signal synchronization timing along the Project corridor. The Project includes 54 signals over 11.4 miles along the Tustin Avenue (known as Tustin Street in the City of Orange) - Rose Drive corridor. Project limits are from First Street in the City of Tustin to Wabash Avenue in the City of Yorba Linda. The City of Orange will be the lead and implementing agency for the Project. Partner Agencies include the cities of Tustin, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Placentia and Yorba Linda. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is not a fiscal participant but has offered support of the Project. A map and list of all intersections included in this Project is included in the RFP document. The selected consultant will develop and manage implementation of signal synchronization timing along the Project corridor. The professional services include any and all services required, to successfully deliver this Project in accordance with OCTA requirements. Related services include but are not limited to: Project management and coordination, traffic engineering design, traffic signal operations, traffic signal timing and coordination, "Before" and "After" studies, construction management, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance support services. Requests for clarifications are due to Ms. Hayes by 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Only the Request for Proposal document (RFP) received directly from the City shall be considered official, as the City must track RFP holders in the event an addendum is issued. Any addendum issued will be provided to prospective consultants on the Proposer List. All proposers must acknowledge receipt of any addenda in the Cover Letter of their proposal. Failure to submit a Proposer List request to the City and/or acknowledge receipt of addenda in the submitted proposal will result in disqualification of the proposal. Hard copies are not available. Prospective consultants are advised to review all sections of the proposal carefully The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
