As of June 15, 2021 the project has been awarded to Maguire Iron. $1,898,000 for Total Bid plus Bid Alternate 1. No start date yet. The Project consists generally of the following scope of the Work. The scope of WORK generally consists of furnishing and installing one 300,000 (min.) gallon 156 ft. to overflow pedestal spheroid style elevated potable water storage tank complete with sitework, site piping, inlet and outlet piping, connections to existing piping, foundation, control room, appurtenances, coating system, overflow piping and outlet, cathodic protection system site access road and other appurtenant items as re required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The Taylor Elevated Tank is located in Stark County in the northwestern portion of the City of Taylor, ND. The date for Substantial Completion for SWPP Contract 5-18 is July 31, 2022. A bid alternate is included to increase the size of the tank to 350,000 (min.) gallons. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the North Dakota State Water Commission. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No pre-bid conference is planned. The State of North Dakota, acting through the ND State Water Commission, reserves the right to award the Contract, if awarded, based on the lowest responsive Bid(s) that is in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner, to reject any and all Bids, to consider other factors in selecting the Bid which is in the best interest of the Owner, and to waive any and all irregularities in any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements.
