Site work and paving for a civil project in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The above work will be let as a single base bid to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the specifications and contract on file with the City Clerk. No bid can be received or considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, or a bid bond in equal amount payable to the City as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within ten (10) days from the date of the lowest responsible bidders bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Plans and detailed specifications, together with the form on contract and bond, and a questionnaire to show bidders proof of responsibility in accordance with Section 66.0901 (2), Wisconsin Statutes, are on file and may be obtained at the City Clerks Office. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility for all bidders including subcontractors must be on file in the City Clerk's Office by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021.
