Work under this Contract includes approximately 1,860-lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, manholes, asphalt replacement and related work. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the Borough of Albion. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of contract documents. Except as otherwise expressly permitted by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 60 days after date of bid opening. The Borough of Albion reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any part of any bid, and to waive any and all informalities in connection therewith. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete. If you have been invited to bid on this project by the owner, please notify our editorial staff. BIDDER agrees that all work will be substantially completed within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The Sanitary Sewer Improvement project work is located on Walnut Street and between Park Avenue and Thornton Avenue in the Borough of Albion, Erie County, PA, as shown on the plans These contract documents and the accompanying construction drawings provide for the installation of 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer and manholes, including lateral connections and street restoration. The work involved is covered by these contract documents. Any labor, equipment, machinery, or apparatus not specifically mentioned herein or shown on the project drawings which may be found necessary to complete or perfect any portion ofwork in a substantialm manner and in compliance with the requirements stated or implied in these specifications and/or plans, shall be supplied by the Contractor without additional compensation. The Contractor shall visit the site and become familiar with all site restrictions and special requirements. The Contractor shall be familiar with and responsible for knowledge of the entire specifications and all project plans.
