Cut-off for questions is Monday, May 24, 2021 at 4:00 PM The approximate quantities of Work to be Bid upon is as described as follows: The replacement of one (1) passenger boarding bridge (PBB) at Yeager Airport. The PBB is located at gate C2. The scope of work includes the procurement and installation of the new PBB, as well as the removal of existing equipment, including but not limited to pre-conditioned air units and ground power units. These items will be reinstalled on the new PBB. In addition, the scope includes removal of existing gate envelope striping and the reinstallation of new gate envelope striping. The Work will be substantially completed within 300 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 330 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day. A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority, an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base Bid. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders. The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, [select disadvantaged business enterprises or airport concession disadvantaged business enterprises] will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
