Renovation of a multi-residential development in Athens, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**As of March 15, 2022, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The construction Budget is $275,000.00 to $325,000.00. furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required for: HVAC REPLACEMENT AND RELATED WORK BONNIE LANE HOMES, PROJECT GA 3-6 ATHENS, GEORGIA 30601-3265 Proposals submitted by mail should be addressed to the Owner at the address set out above and plainly marked as indicated in the "Instructions to Bidders for Contracts", Section 00 1000. All proposals submitted by mail will be collected at the address set out above at 10:00 A.M. Current Local Time on the day mentioned above and held unopened at the office of the Housing Authority until 2:00 P.M., at which time they will be opened with those that have been hand delivered. Refer to complete Bid Documents for full scope of work required. To request documents, send email to Tom Mottern. Requests for documents should be accompanied by a street address and telephone number and e-mail address. Bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. The General Contractors submitting bids or being considered for this work shall be licensed to perform such work by the State in which the work is located and shall submit evidence of such license before his bid may be opened or considered. All contractors shall be required to comply with the equal employment and Section 3 requirements of the Federal Government. Attention is called to the fact that salaries not less than the Davis-Bacon wage rates as published by the U.S. Department of Labor and as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this Project. Please address all questions regarding the Drawings and Specifications or bidding procedures to the Architect and not the Athens Housing Authority. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, ladders, scaffolding, protections, trucking, transportation, fees, licenses, taxes and all other related items, services and facilities necessary for completion of the Work in accordance with the drawings, specifications, supplement and/or addenda. The Contract Price for this project shall reflect all permits, licenses, fees, insurance, bond fees, exterior and interior construction work, temporary facilities and utilities, and construction to accommodate the equipment of other trades. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
