Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of July 16, 2021, this project has has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on 21st of July. The work will be funded by the Borough of Glen Gardner. The major construction items include: Base Bid Sanatorium Road Sect. 1&2 ; 11,670 square yards of HMA milling 3 or less; 1,400 tons HMA 9.5M-64 surface course 2 thick; 500 square yards of HMA 19M-64 base repair 5 thick, 200 s.y. reinforced concrete sidewalk 4 thick, 500 l.f. concrete curb; 40 units type B inlet repairs, and other lawn restoration and incidental items. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, Base Bid Plus Alternate Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. It should be clearly understood by the bidder that the scope of work under this contract involves approximate locations, as shown on the plan and described in the specifications. Ifthe Owner and/or Engineer deems it necessary to change the location or grade of a structure or pipe, due to utilities, subsurface structures, unavailability ofright-of-way or other unforeseen obstacles, the contractor shall not be entitled to extra compensation by reason of the change. The unit prices bid under this contract shall be used to compensate the Contractor for all work performed which, in the opinion of the Engineer falls within the scope of the work.
