Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Scarsdale, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper care and protection of all materials delivered and work performed until completion and final acceptance, whether or not the same has been covered in whole or in part by payments made by the Owner. Materials shall be stored so as to insure the preservation of their quality and fitness for the work and shall be located so as to facilitate prompt inspection. When considered necessary, they shall be placed on wooden platforms or other hard, clean surfaces and not on the ground, and when directed, shall be placed in weatherproof buildings. Stored materials, even though approved before storage, shall be inspected prior to their use in the work and shall meet the requirements of the specifications at the time it is proposed to use them. The Contractor shall at his sole expense and without any additional cost to the Owner provide watchmen and/or other security measures as may be reasonably required to properly protect and care for materials and work completed, and to otherwise prevent property damage and/or personal injury.
