Site work for a water / sewer project in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Aurora is planning to capture Westerly Creek flows at the entrance to the Kenton Way culvert and convey those flows under Mississippi Avenue to eliminate a significant flooding problem in the City that also spills into the City and County of Denver. The project will construct approximately 570 linear feet of Cast-in-Place concrete box storm sewer ranging in size from 6 x 6.5 to 12 x 6.5 along South Kenton Way beginning at the intersection with East Mississippi Avenue. Other major elements of construction include but are not limited to: Dewatering, Erosion Control, Remove Asphalt, Remove Curb and Gutter, Remove RCBC, Remove Concrete Headwall/Wingwall, Remove Concrete flatwork, Earthwork, Structural Concrete Headwall/Wingwall, Full Depth Asphalt, Curb and Gutter, 2 Mill and Overlay, Concrete Sidewalk, Curb Ramp, Sod, Seeding and Traffic Control.
