The City is seeking Professional Engineering and Recycling/Solid Waste Management Consultant Services to assist in the following tasks: a. The Consultant shall provide technical, financial, and regulatory compliance expertise. b. The Consultant shall assist with preparation of an RFP for the continued operation and future development of SERRF, including organic materials processing, addressing the City's disposal needs. c. The Consultant shall assist in the evaluation of proposals and operating options for the SERRF plant. d. The Consultant shall assist with contract negotiations between the City and operator under the preferred proposal. e. The Consultant shall assist in negotiations with regulatory agencies to secure required permits. All questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to RFP Purchasing@longbeach.gov attention Christina Sarmiento with the RFP number in the subject line of the email message. The questions are due no later than 05/10/2021 by 11:00 AM, PT. Answers to those questions will be posted as an addendum no later than 05/20/2021 by 11:00 AM, PT. Proposals shall be submitted electronically and must be received no later than 11:00 AM, PT on 06/03/2021 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
