1. Upgrade 89 lower level and 89 2nd floor balcony hand railings to code. Detailed Technical Specifications for the Exterior Building Handrails included in the solicitation as Attachment J. 2. Shop drawings of railing to be submitted and approved prior to construction. 3. 1/4 base plate to be attached to concrete with (4) stainless steel fasteners. 4. Aluminum railing fastened to columns per manufacturer's installation instructions. 5. Contractor to provide liquid applied clear waterproofing membrane to concrete surface at all balconies. 6. Contractor shall review all documents, specifications, conduct a site visit, review construction documents, specifications for all work to be completed pursuant to Florida Building Code 2017 6th Edition 7. The contractor and owner / owner's representative shall thoroughly review all scheduled work to be completed prior to the actual commencement of the work to be done. This is to ensure that the surface area is in sound condition for the type of work to be accomplished and that proper arrangements have been made to inform the residents in the project that work is being done in that specific area. 8. The contractor shall give proper notification to owner or owner's representative and the authorized to set up proper field visit procedures once specified areas of work have been completed.
