Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mill Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed scope of work includes traffic signals, storm drain, minor concrete work, replacement of curb, gutter and sidewalk, roadside signs, fencing and barriers, adjusting utility covers and boxes, and roadway rehabilitation work. Roadway rehabilitation work will include mill and HMA overlay rehabilitation method, including but not be limited to, pavement base repairs, HMA dig outs, pavement milling, asphalt concrete pavement, saw cutting, striping and pavement markings and curb ramp installation and all other work as shown on the Plans, as called for in the Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the City of Mill Valley shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within thirty (30) days after receipt of proposals. The City of Mill Valley reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $3,000,000 to $3,200,000
