Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marysville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work in general consists of placing slurry seal surfacing, traffic striping, and pavement markers at five areas in Yuba County referred to as Community Services Areas. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. Question Submission Deadline:May 19, 2021, 2:00pm Question Response Deadline:May 20, 2021, 2:00pm The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
