Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; service station / car wash facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and service station / car wash facility.

As of July 26, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Work includes complete installation of electric vehicle charging stations with coordination of respective electric utility providers. New or upgraded service entrance equipment as required by the electric utility providers. Repairing, adding and/or replacing concrete sidewalks and/or bituminous pavement. Trenching, backfilling, underground conduit and miscellaneous earthwork, furnish and install the EV charging stations and pedestals, and related equipment; ie., panelboards, panel branch circuit breakers, disconnect switches, conduit, wiring, etc., Complete feeder and distribution power circuits for EV charging stations. Equipment mounting structures and electrical kiosks. Concrete footers for EV charging station pedestals, equipment mounting structures, and electrical kiosks, Start-up, commissioning, and training. Responsive bidders must hold a current small business certification from Pennsylvania Department of General Services. Engineer's Estimate: $100,000 to $500,000. Where security is required, failure to submit the guaranty with the bid may be cause for rejection.
