As of February 3, 2022, the project has not been awarded. Bids are currently still under review by San Antonio Water System (SAWS). A timeline for award has yet to be confirmed. Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of lift station modifications and related demolition at fifteen (15) separate sanitary sewer lift station sites throughout San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas for the Lift Stations Rehabilitation - Phase 5 Project, SAWS Job No. 16-2502. No requests for FTP site access will be accepted after June 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM (CST). The aspirational SMWB goal is expressed as 20% of your total bid price. The project will rehabilitate fifteen (15) lift stations located at Port San Antonio (Port SA) and Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA-Lackland) area as shown in the table below. The project will include replacement of existing pumps, gravity pipes, and force mains as necessary, rehabilitation of existing wet wells or installation of new wet wells, protection of lift stations if they are within the 100-year flood plain, demolition of old buildings and structures, installation of fencing and driveways, electrical, instrumentation and controls upgrades, and other modifications and upgrades as included in the Contract Documents.
