Project no- 12F0 FD52 008 9251101D The Boone County Fiscal Court invites the submittal of pricing bids for the KY 237 Multi-Use Path project for the Boone County Public Works Department KY 237 Multi-Use Path project for the construction of approximately 15,148 L.F. of multi-use path and 1,669 L.F. of sidewalk including all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. Late submissions will not be accepted by Boone County. Each bidder is required to submit with their bid, a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid or certified check equal in amount to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Kentucky to provide said surety. Bids must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein. It is the intent and requirements of the Boone County Fiscal Court that this project be completed no later than June 30, 2022. Please note due to Federal Funding this project is subject to the Federal DavisBacon Act wage requirements. This project also requires a 4% Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) goal. The successful bidder will be required to have a current Occupational License in Boone County before the contract will be awarded. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet at the time of the bid to be eligible for award. The Boone County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to negotiate for the modification of any bid or to accept that bid which is deemed the most desirable and advantageous from the standpoint of customer value and service and concept of operations, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of receipt of bids.
