For As-Needed Engineering Services Power Distribution Design Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Provide professional engineering and design services for power distribution design on "as needed" basis to support IID's Energy Customer Operations sections. Work relating to this solicitation may include, but not be limited to: Prepares plans and specifications per IID standards for the design of electric utility distribution construction. Prepares engineering drawings for work to be performed. Conducts field surveys of project sites to determine the location of electric and other facilities and the impact of proposed changes. Prepares electrical distribution underground rated conduit and wiring plans and detailed drawings Prepares engineering drawings for work to be performed. Locates route for new services and determines easement requirements. Performs field staking for wood pole installation according to the design and selected route. Designs street light systems. Prepares a final design package for approval by IID. Coordinates with IID staff to ensure that safe, reliable and cost effective facilities are designed. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending.
