The Housing Authority will assist bidders/contractors in developing a plan to comply with EBE, Section 3, and WHEDA requirements. Where appropriate, the bidder must comply with Executive Order 11246, Federal Labor Standards, Equal Opportunity requirements, and related program requirements as detailed in the Contract Documents. Contractor shall submit an Hourly Rate for the installation of approximately one hundred sixty (160) square feet for 2-story units and two hundred fifty-six (256) square feet for 3-story units of drywall patchwork with a smooth finish ready for paint and repair of any drywall cracks in each apartment unit as determined by Construction Manager after installation of modular home. a. Hourly Rate shall include all labor costs, including wages, fringe benefits, insurance, small tools, overhead, profit, general conditions, etc. b. Hourly Rate shall be based on the Wage Rate, Schedule "A" (Davis-Bacon prevailing wages), included in this solicitation, using the applicable classification and rate for a drywall contractor. c. Hourly Rate shall be based on the assumption that work will be done in the year 2021. If the work goes into the year 2022, then an adjustment may be made to the Hourly Rate based on the actual cost increase, if any. d. Services shall be on an as-needed basis All drywall finish shall be smooth Contractor shall review Exhibit 2, Floor Plans and Elevations, for the scope of work within each apartment unit. This exhibit is for informational use only. Note that this solicitation is for only drywall patchwork that the modular home supplier could not install in the factory Contract will carry an allowance of One Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($1,500.00) for miscellaneous materials, such as taping compound and other items, needed to install the drywall patching. Contractor may bill for the materials at industry standard rates; supporting invoices or delivery tickets may be required. Materials shall be reimbursed at cost plus 10%. If cost of materials needed for the work exceeds the original allowance amount, then a change order will be issued to increase the allowance. All remaining funds from this allowance will be issued back to the Owner. Drywall supplied by Modular Supplier Construction Manager's expectation is that the installation of drywall patching can be done in multiple units, but an exact count cannot be given at this time. Construction Manager's field team shall work with the Drywall Contractor on the scheduling. Below is a tentative schedule by block when the work will be performed. See also Exhibit 1, Site Plan Schedule. a. Block 14 (5 buildings/11 units): Interior work to begin on August 23, 2021 to September 16, 2021. b. Block 12 (12 buildings/29 units): Interior work to begin on September 15, 2021 to October 27, 2021. c. Block 17 (7 buildings/21 units): Interior work to being October 25, 2021 to November 26, 2021
