Renovation of a detention facility in Nampa, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the replacement of mechanical equipment on phase 1 of the Juvenile Corrections Center in Nampa, Idaho. Base project includes the replacement of 7 rooftop units, 1 make-up air unit, 1 mini split system, 2 duct heaters, and 12 exhaust fans. Add alternate includes the replacement of 3 water heaters and accessories. One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and electrical subcontractors from the Engineer for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain documents at cost, nonrefundable. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work Bidder hereby agrees to commence Work under this Contract on a date to be specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to substantially complete the Project within 150 consecutive calendar days thereafter, as stipulated in the specifications. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day after the established substantial completion date or adjusted date as established by change order
