Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a Design-Bid-Build replacement of the existing Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) (otherwise known as ANC ATCT) and Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility (otherwise known as A11) at the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in Beta.SAM are not applicable to the FAA as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS). This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR.
