The City of Longview (City) is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms or a team of consultants (Consultant) with expertise in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Inspection Services to provide such services for the City's SR432/ California Way Intersection Improvements project funded through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) National Highway Freight programs (NHFP). The construction management and inspection services are expected to take place from August 2021 through December 2022. The contract may be terminated sooner as provided in the agreement, and the City reserves the right to extend the agreement for additional time if necessary. The City reserves the right to amend the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP), to issue various addenda, or to withdraw the RFP at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent preparing a proposal. Project Description The proposed improvements include improving SR 432 / California Way / E. Industrial Way by geometric realignment of SR 432 from MP 7.19 to MP 7.00, widen lanes, and replace existing signal system. The City anticipates the invitation to bidders will be advertised in late June 2021 with award of the construction contract scheduled for August 2021.
