This project is for the demolition of the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) existing Workshop Building located at 700 Cross Street, Casselberry, Florida 32707 and construction of a new building as shown on the drawings and specifications. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the new workshop. Question End Date 5/27/2021 5:00 PM Anticipated Award Date 7/26/2021 Bid Bond Required Yes Performance Bond Required Yes The Work specified in the "Scope of Services" generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the replacement of the Water Reclamation Facility operations workshop building, including demolition of the existing building; construction of all new building structures; installation of new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment; installation of new interior fixtures; and site restoration. To demonstrate qualifications to perform the work, each Bidder must be prepared to submit, following receipt of written request by the City, information including but not limited to financial data, previous experience including references and evidence of authority to conduct business in the State of Florida. This information must be received by the City within five Days (5) of Bidder receiving the written request. Submittals requested pursuant to this subsection are in addition to those required elsewhere. The work on this project shall include the following: 1. Demolish and replace the existing building and foundation with new building and foundation. The existing garage building is to remain. Paint interior and exterior of each building (exterior to match existing operations building). 2. Construct new auxiliary and operations workshop building - including plumbing, lighting, electrical HVAC, cabinetry, work benches, bathroom fixtures, roof system, concrete walls, concrete formwork, painting, and safety equipment. 3. Existing Garage/Storage Building Modifications following demo of adjacent building structure: Enclose/Restore exterior of garage/storage building walls, roof and gable. Complete all proposed electrical, door and window replacement. Paint to match new Auxiliary Building and existing operations building. 4. Site restoration, grading, sidewalks, ramps, sodding, fencing/wall, landscaping, access driveway modifications and parking area stabilization. 5. Furnish and install site piping - includes but is not limited to all the pipe, values, fittings, restraints and appurtenances necessary for the water main, force main, and water service to the building. 6. Installation of new grinder pump station and sewer connection to existing manhole to serve newbathroom inside operations building. 7. Installation and testing of new power service. 8. Coordination with Duke Energy for demolition of existing services, installation of new permanent service and installation of temporary service. 9. Testing of all installed systems. 10. Restoration and site clean-up, including sodding all areas disturbed by construction activity. 11. All work to be completed as shown on the construction plans and represented in these specifications.
