The WORK to be completed includes rehabilitating approximately 6500 lineal feet of sanitary sewer using the cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP) method, reinstating approximately 191 side sewers, removing 11 protruding laterals, flow diversion and temporary bypass pumping, temporary traffic control, and all other work as identified in the Contract Documents. This work must be performed at night since the project route is along principal arterial The WORK must be completed by October 8, 2021. BID SECURITY: Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The failure to furnish a bid deposit of a minimum of 5 percent shall make the bid nonresponsive and shall cause the bid to be rejected by the Contracting Agency. PERFORMANCE BOND: The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100 percent of the Contract Price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Bremerton.
