The Lander County Commissioners will consider awarding the contract at the next regularly scheduled Commissioner's Meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to these Specifications. The completed forms shall be included in the bound proposal and shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope which is addressed to Lander County Clerk, 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, and marked "Well 6 Water Treatment Plant Equipment Pre-Purchase Phase I Project." Faxed Proposals will not be accepted. The Principal items of work for the Well 6 Water Treatment Plant Equipment PrePurchase Phase I Project will consist of pre-purchase water treatment equipment for arsenic removal at Well 6. A pre-bid conference is not required for this project. A copy of a summary of the pilot testing is included in the Exhibits at the end of the Technical Specifications. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price for the contract. Pre-qualified Bidders Only.
