Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work included under this contract consists of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of two existing bridges and their approaches to allow for safe pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to the park as well as to establish connections to the regional Greenway and county trails. Bidders for this project shall as of the bid opening date, be listed as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified, as a Prime Contractor, in Category S4, Bridge Culverts, Pedestrian Bridges, and Timber Bridges, in accordance with the PennDOT's Specifications, Publication 408, Section 102, Subsection 102.01, dated 2020. The successful Bidder may be required to submit a copy of the PennDOT Prequalification Certificate. Bidders for this project must provide SDB and VBE Participation Submittals. Engineer's Estimate: Over $1 Million
